Dec 18: Waldorf Kindergarten Winter Festival

My favorite Festival Day of the year.  As a kindergarten class community of students, parents and dear teachers, we share in a storytime, watch a play, sing carols while trimming the classroom tree.
The children worked very hard creating ornaments and gifts this year.  They carefully swept up the stardust that St. Nicholas left in his wake and used it to create shimmering star ornaments.
They strung popcorn and cranberries into beautiful garlands for the tree.
The winter Nature Table is a little cold and bare-- just like our landscape this time of year.
The Advent wreath in the classroom-- I always feel sorry for that poor fourth candle-- it never gets lit before the children depart for the Christmas break.
