On the way back from the Railroad, we happened upon a darling little pumpkin patch/ farmstand that offered everything from sauerkraut (joy!) and salsa to honey and apple cider.  After chatting with the farmer for a while (and picking out some lovely white pumpkins and assorted decorative gourds for the front porch), I discovered he also has a few turkeys for Thanksgiving.  I made a good faith payment right then and there and we will be receiving a never-frozen 20 or so pound 'happy' local turkey the Wed before Thanksgiving!  Woo hoo!
