Squealing and Strolling

Auntie Carrie came to visit last night, and Alexandra reveled in the attention she received-- doling out smile after smile. She showed Carrie how she sat up, and ate lots of sweet potatoes, prunes, and oatmeal for dinner. (Both Carrie and Alex are improving in their 'feeder'/'feedee' roles during the dinnertime routine-- It's not easy to feed a flailing baby).

I hadn't posted any pictures of our Tuesday morning activity yet. Here's a typical Alex look during our circuit training at Stretch & Stroll (our friend James is in the stroller next to her, and Alexandra is busy watching his mommy, Summer, exercise).

For those of you who have been waiting for it, we finally managed to catch some of Alex's 'happy' squealing on video. Note Huxley 'talking back' to her in the background.

umm... what's the likelihood she's imitating the cat's vocalization? "This is how the cat talks, and he gets attention - so maybe I'll give it a try!"
